Accomplishments

       Marketing and Media Relations:

  • Developed and launched public relations campaign through re-branding effort, new website, media alerts, press releases, social media, articles and public speaking resulting in 300% increase in media coverage
  • Analysis of website, social media and all marketing collateral for functionality and return on investment; developed and implemented changes
  • Responsible for copy writing, copy editing, and final proofing for advertising efforts and marketing collateral including trade shows and press releases
  • Analyzed effectiveness of existing marketing channels and positioning, conducted research for marketing channel expansion
  • Created and managed marketing and vendor partner relationships; Managed advertising, promotions, and publicity programs

 Business Development and Market Penetration:

  • $7.5 million in increased revenue for NC Zoo; $171,000 in grants for substance abuse and homelessness; generated revenue of $350,000 in program grants, $1,200,395 in contracts for programs and services, and $775,000 in capital campaign grants, $150,000 in Special Events, $80,000  United Way funding and $950,000.00 capital campaign for disability services
  • Developed new membership marketing strategy which increased membership by 33% with 23% growth in spending; grew another membership base by 100% resulting in national award for membership
  • Developed 300 new corporate partners for organizations served
  • Established and managed partner and community relationships on a daily basis
  • Developed strategic plan for agency operations and growth resulting in county contract of $250,000
